Our team is fully licensed, insured, and trained in pet CPR and first aid, so you can have full peace of mind knowing your loved one is in expert hands.
Today, Homeward Bound Services proudly offers a full suite of pet care solutions: dog boarding, pet sitting, dog walking, hotel and event pet care, training classes, and even pet ministry services. Whether it's helping a pup adjust to a new routine or caring for a cherished senior cat during travel, we treat every situation with heart, patience, and professionalism.
Meet May and Julie
May and Julie are the heart and soul of Homeward Bound Services.
With a lifelong love for animals and a background in professional pet care, May founded Homeward Bound Services with the goal of creating a service that pet owners could fully trust. Her journey started over fifteen years ago, caring for friends and neighbors pets while they traveled, and word spread quickly about her reliability and her genuine connection with animals. Her expertise today reaches past standard care to pets with anxiety, special needs, and older animals who need extra patience.
Julie, May's mother, has been part of Homeward Bound Services from the beginning. She makes sure every pet is fed on schedule, comfortable, and given the attention that keeps them relaxed while their families are away. Longtime clients know her by name, and the shy and senior pets tend to find her first.
Together they have built one of New Orleans' most trusted names in pet care, on a simple idea: every pet deserves the same love, respect, and attention we give our own family.
