2023

2022

Featured as One of the Best Dog Walkers in New Orleans by Expertise.com

We were once again recognized by Expertise.com as one of the Best Dog Walking Companies in New Orleans. This marks our second time receiving this award, based on reputation, credibility, experience, availability, and professionalism.

2021

Merged with Courtney’s Pet Sitting Services

We successfully merged with Courtney’s Pet Services, expanding our service area across the East Bank of Jefferson and Orleans Parish. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and Hurricane Ida, we remained committed to providing high-quality pet care throughout Greater New Orleans.

2017

Merged with Wild Walks Dog Walks and Pet Sitting Services

We completed a merger with Wild Walks Dog Walks and Pet Sitting, expanding into the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods. This allowed us to serve more families and establish new partnerships across Orleans Parish.

Featured Business in Kenner, LA

We were honored to be highlighted as a featured business by the Kenner Business Association, Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Lakes of Chateau community.

Our partnership with First Lake Properties — Louisiana’s largest developer of multifamily communities — continues to be a point of pride. With over 9,500 apartment units in areas like Metairie, Kenner, and River Ridge, we’re proud to serve hundreds of happy clients in these communities.

2016

Named One of the Best Dog Walkers in New Orleans (Expertise.com)

Homeward Bound was honored to be featured for the first time by Expertise.com in 2016 as a top dog walking company in New Orleans, recognized for reliability, professionalism, and experience.

2022

Business Spotlight: Elmwood Self Storage & Wine Cellar

We were featured as the Business Spotlight of the Month by Elmwood Self Storage & Wine Cellar in December 2013. Our feature included special coupons and promotions for their community members.

Our founder, May Wen, was honored to speak at the New Orleans Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women in November 2013. She shared her knowledge on canine body language, helping attendees understand the difference between aggression and fear in dogs, and how dogs interpret human behavior.
